1. Overview
These Starter Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CodeCargo Starter Version (“Starter Services”). By accessing or using the Starter Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Starter Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. What You Get
The Starter Services provide access to a free or limited-feature version of CodeCargo’s platform. Features, functionality, and usage limits may vary and may change over time.
3. Changes to the Service
We are continuously improving CodeCargo. As a result, we may:
- Add or remove features
- Change functionality
- Limit usage
- Suspend or discontinue the Starter Services
We may do this at any time, with or without notice.
4. Pricing Changes
The Starter Services are currently offered at no cost.
However, CodeCargo may:
- Introduce fees
- Modify pricing
- Require a paid upgrade
We will provide at least 30 days’ notice before any pricing changes take effect.
If you do not agree, you must stop using the Starter Services before the change becomes effective.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the platform
- Reverse engineer or misuse the Services
- Use the Services in a way that violates others’ rights
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of your data.
By using the Starter Services, you grant CodeCargo the right to:
- Process your data to provide the Services
- Use aggregated and anonymized data to improve the platform
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use any data you provide.
7. No SLA or Support
The Starter Services:
- Do not include service level agreements (SLAs)
- Do not guarantee uptime or availability
- May have limited or no support
8. Upgrades to Paid Plans
We may require you to upgrade to a paid plan if:
- You exceed usage limits
- You require features not included in the Starter Services
- Your use is no longer appropriate for the Starter tier
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Starter Services at any time.
You may stop using the Services at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately.
10. Disclaimer
The Starter Services are provided: “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We make no guarantees regarding:
- Availability
- Performance
- Security
- Fitness for a particular purpose
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeCargo will not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data, revenue, or business
- Service interruptions
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (e.g., email or in-product). Your continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
