Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (this "AUP") governs your and your users' use of CodeCargo Inc.'s software, cloud-based internal developer platform, developer tools, integrations, APIs, plugins, and any other products and services associated therewith (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right (including intellectual property, privacy, and data protection laws);
  • Interfere with or compromise the integrity, security, or availability of any system, including CodeCargo's infrastructure or third-party services connected through the platform;
  • Circumvent authentication or access controls on any resource within the platform;
  • Use automation (bots, scripts, integrations) to overload the platform, trigger abusive workflows, or manipulate system behavior;
  • Upload, transmit, or distribute malware, ransomware, viruses, or any malicious code;
  • Send phishing messages, deceptive links, or social engineering attempts through automation or messaging integrations;
  • Store or distribute offensive, abusive, defamatory, hateful, pornographic, misleading, or otherwise unlawful content via workflow artifacts, repositories, or integrations;
  • Mine cryptocurrency or perform resource-intensive workloads unrelated to legitimate developer activity;
  • Launch denial of service (DoS), distributed denial of service (DDoS), or similar attacks;
  • Misrepresent your identity, affiliations, or impersonate CodeCargo or its employees;
  • Excessively consume network or system resources in a way that disrupts or degrades other users' access or usage;
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise exploit the Services without written authorization; or

2. Customer Responsibilities

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining control over your account(s), API Keys, tokens, and credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account(s).

Workflow Governance: You must ensure workflows, jobs, pipelines, and extensions you run through the Services are lawful, secure and consistent with this AUP.

Data Integrity: You are responsible for any data, content, or materials you upload, store, or transmit through our Services, including obtaining any necessary consents and ensuring their accuracy and legality.

Compliance: You must ensure all users, employees, and third parties accessing CodeCargo via your organization comply with this AUP.

3. Monitoring and Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

  • Monitor your use of the Services for compliance and security purposes;
  • Investigate suspected violations of this AUP;
  • Remove or disable access to content or users found in violation;
  • Suspend or terminate accounts without notice for violations;
  • Report unlawful conduct to law enforcement or applicable authorities.

4. Modifications

We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted indicates acceptance of those changes.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any misuse of the Services or a violation of this AUP, please report it to us at legal@codecargo.com
